To My Beloved Husband Alvin Richardson

When you told me
That you loved me
That's all I heard
I told you, that I loved you
Just faith in a word.

You showed me
That you loved me
From that day until now,
And I still love you
And I will miss you
But I'll make it somehow.

When you told me
In the good times, you would remain
And you told me, in the bad times
Your love would not change.

You showed me
That you truly loved me
In every single way
And that's why I'll always love
I will miss you everyday.

Yes!! You told me that you loved me
That's all I heard you say
And forever I will love you
Wait for me, we'll meet again on
Resurrection Day.
