Sol and Clara King Jackson Family History

Sol Jackson's Family


Sol Jackson was born May 28, 1888. Sol's parents named Annie and Peter Jackson. Annie's parents were named Isaac and Edie Jackson. Isaac was born in approximately 1838 in Louisana. Edie Jackson was born in approximately 1843 in Louisana. They had thirteen children.
Sol Jackson married Clara King when he was 23 years old. He registered for World War I on September 12, 1911. Sol Jackson died May 27, 1932 in New Orleans, Louisana.


Clara King Jackson's Family

Clara King was born on November 15, 1880. Clara's parents named was Debie Zeigler King and Josh King. Debie Zeigler King was born in 1873 in Louisana. Debie and Josh King had five children. Two of their children; Janie and James Chambers lived with Sol and Clara Jackson when they died. Debie's parents were named Mark and Jane Zeigler. Both of Debie's parents were born in Alabama. Mark Zeigler's father named was Samuel Zeigler. Samuel was born 1785 in South Carolina. Both of Samuel Zeigler's parents were born in Africa.

Josh King's parents were named Jack and Sally King. Jack King was born about 1830 in South Carolina. His parents were also born in South Carolina. Sally King was born about 1850 in Georgia. Her parents' birthplace was South Carolina. Jack and Sally King moved to Louisana in 1868 before Josh King was born.

Clara and Sol Jackson had nine children: Theodis Jackson (1908-1942), Helen Cole (1911-1984), Katie(Jackson) Morris (1914-1986), Phillip Jackson (1916-2005), Rev. Willie Jackson (1918-1985), Tillie (Jackson) Hatter (1922-1993), Eula (Jackson) Marasils (1924-1994), Rosetta (Jackson) Taylor (1927-2005) and Annie Mae (Jackson) Richardson (1929-1992). Clara King Jackson lived her last days with her daugther Annie Mae, son in law Alvin Richardson and their family. Clara died February 5, 1976 in West Monroe, Louisana.
